A pop-up carnival has been put down in Praxis just in time for the next festival. There is good music good food and diversity something that the old Praxis from before the war never had.
Prowl can see the constructicons spending their off hours playing games at a booth. Hunter and Drift are trying to win some kind of toy that is clearly overpriced, but having a good time throwing rings.
Sideburn is hitting on another mecha with a red paint job. He is clearly unimpressed with whatever pick up line he just used.
X-brawn is standing in line to compete in the tractor pull.
Prowl is contemplating competing in the drag race later, maybe some friendly competition against Lockdown, to see whos faster in a short sprint. Hunter expressed wanting to compete in the sparkling drag race so they’ll likely do that too.
Mer and Smokescreen are probably around here somewhere.
“So you want to ride any of the rides?”
“Frag no,” answers Prowl.

It doesn’t take much for Prowl to feel loved now a days, he hasn’t had the best home life growing up and Lockdown seems to understand him in a way most others don’t even bother trying. But a memory from Lockdown feels like cheating. Because any memory involving Lockdown Prowl feels loved.
But one of the first times outside his brothers he felt loved was with Ironhide. It was his first few weeks on the force, put there by a functionist council who told him he wouldn’t struggle as an officer, but Prowl struggled anywhere with everything.
Prowl remembers being at the beginning of a panic attack, or maybe his glitch was acting up, Ironhide took him to a more private part of the building, getting him a cube of energon. at the time It was unclear if Ironhide did this because he was just kind or wanted Praxis’ most powerful family on his side, but his kindness earned I’m Prowls loyalty at the very least.

“Alright,” says Prowl He’s worked with less before. Its not ideal but Smokescreen is still relatively new in the command structure. Instructions can sometimes be unclear, and while the information is vital, the Decepticons have been quiet recently. “Lets…” he trails off attempting to find a good place to start, there is so much information that could be useful but only some of it is something that he might know.
“To be honest, I’m not sure with the short time you’ve been on staff that you’d have much data anyway,” clarified Prowl. “You don’t have anything to compare it to yet, other than what Ratchet might have given you on his reports so for the meeting I think you should stick with noting observations at this point.”
“I would mainly focus on morale at this point. What do we need to do to keep our soldiers heads in the game. Are we working them too hard, giving them enough downtime. Does Jazz need to put together another party? I take it you mingled and observed the soldiers long enough to know when they are beginning to feel burned out?”
‘I do have some general observations, yes.’ Smokescreen smiling at the suggestion. ‘I habitually gauge the mood of the room I’m in, track the changes, but I keep all that in my head. I have no written observations or prepared presentation for it.’ The Staff will expect something other than casual observations. ‘When was the last time this base had a garrison-wide fun day? A sporting event or some sort of team competition?’
Prowl had to think when the last time it was the Autobots had a ‘fun day’. Prowl didn’t usually go unless he was helping serve with the other command staff Or Optimus Specifically wanted him there, because he’s part of the command staff he should go. Prowl typically volunteered to be the active duty commander. Typically when he did go he was helping pass out the specialized energon, when command staff would spend some of the budget on flavor packets, now so rare during the war, or he would observe the snack table, making sure everyone got a rust stick.
It’s probably been a couple of orbital cycles,“ says Prowl. "In all honesty, we’re likely due for some kind of field day. And the Deceptions have been…” Prowl doesn’t want to say quietly. “absent lately. It’s likely they are planning something big.”
“It might not be a bad idea to suggest a fun day if you think we need it. You can use my data just from the tactical department if you need to, mistakes are happening at greater intervals, and I believe my teams are beginning to suffer from burnout.”
